The purpose of Under The Scope BC is to break down barriers to research opportunities and make them accessible to students across British Columbia. We aim to connect aspiring researchers with meaningful opportunities.
We are NOT here to misrepresent any research, institutions, or researchers. Once we start doing that, we lose our mission entirely. Misrepresentation undermines the trust and accessibility we work to build.
We take infringements and concerns about misrepresentation very seriously. If you have any concerns about how your research, lab, or institution is represented on this platform, please contact us immediately at admin@underthescopebc.ca
All visual elements on this platform are purely organizational and thematic. Color blocks shown on opportunity cards represent broad academic fields (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics) and are used solely for categorization purposes.
These colors and visual elements do NOT represent:
- The actual research lab, facility, or physical environment
- The principal investigators, researchers, or staff members
- The institution's branding, logos, or official imagery
- The specific research projects, equipment, or materials
- Any endorsement, affiliation, or partnership
